Size vs Vest: Crypto Funded Accounts and Challenges Compared

Compare the qualification experience, account rules and payout conditions before choosing a crypto funded-account route.

By Size team

Size and Vest Capital offer different routes to a funded-account opportunity. Size uses a 15-minute trading survival game against skill-rated bots. Vest publishes profit-target evaluation and instant-account routes. The useful comparison is how you qualify, what you pay, which loss limits apply and what can qualify for a payout.

If you are comparing crypto prop firms, separate the qualification experience from the account you use afterward. A short trading game, a profit-target evaluation and instant account access are different products. None guarantees a profitable outcome or a cash payout.

Game-based evaluation vs profit-target evaluation

A crypto prop firm challenge usually needs a careful reading of its passing criteria. Vest’s account guide describes evaluation targets and instant access. Size’s funded challenge instead uses trading points, boosts, timed eliminations and a final rank. Trading profit alone is not the complete Size win condition.

Size’s 15-minute format gives the qualification game a defined finish. It does not make an account easier to win. Your paid entry can be lost. After winning, game profit does not carry into funded-account earnings. Read how prop firm challenges and Size’s game-based evaluation differ.

Check what “funded” and “live” mean

Size explicitly awards simulated funded accounts. Vest’s product documentation uses “Live” for a post-evaluation or instant account, while its prop-program terms describe simulated accounts and nonbinding trade ideas, with any separate execution at Vest’s discretion. Read the applicable terms before assuming you control a live brokerage account or underlying assets.

For both products, ask what legal rights the account creates and which profits are eligible for payment. A headline capital amount is not the same thing as a cash prize or withdrawable starting balance. Our crypto funded-account guide explains that distinction.

Compare drawdown and risk rules

Vest’s loss-limit guide describes a fixed maximum-drawdown floor set when the account is created, with daily-limit options depending on the purchased account. Size’s total-loss floor follows recorded equity highs until capped at the starting balance; it also has a daily equity-based limit. These calculations differ even when two offers advertise a similar percentage.

Check open-position treatment, reset time, payout adjustments and the breach condition for the actual account. Read Size’s funded-account drawdown rules alongside Vest’s loss-limit documentation.

Compare payout conditions, not just profit shares

Vest’s claim guide separates a funded-account profit claim into its Primary Account from a later external-wallet withdrawal. Size similarly separates an eligible funded payout into the Size wallet from withdrawing money outside Size. Review the deductions, profit share, account status and remaining loss room before confirming.

Size requires all positions on the funded account to be closed before a payout request. Its simulated capital is not withdrawable. Read Size’s profit split and payout conditions and Vest’s profit-claim process for the actual flows.

Which experience fits your goal?

If you want a profit-target evaluation or instant account route, investigate Vest’s current offer and program terms. If you want a bounded trading survival game for a simulated funded-account prize, explore Size. If you want a selected cash award instead of ongoing account trading, compare Size’s cash challenges.
