# How cash prizes work

Read your Size cash entry, displayed payout, and result without confusing virtual P\&L with winnings.

The cash reward is selected before the game. The virtual profit you make while playing is used for game performance; it is not an additional cash withdrawal.

## 1. Read the entry and prize

Open cash-prize selection and review the entry, payout multiplier, displayed prize, and rules. If you sign in or add funds after choosing, review the selection again before confirming.

## 2. Understand the total payout

Multiply the entry by the payout multiplier to calculate the total prize. The published example is a $10 entry at 2×: a win pays $20, including the $10 entry and $10 winnings, before additional charges. A loss loses the entry.

The multiplier describes the payout, not the probability of a win. See [Entry and cash prizes](https://www.size.club/docs/cash-games/entry-and-prizes) and [Costs and fees](https://www.size.club/docs/wallet/costs-and-fees) for the full explanation.

## 3. Keep trading performance separate

During play, a profitable virtual trade can improve your performance without making you the game winner. Watch score and rank, and follow the game's [result conditions](https://www.size.club/docs/gameplay/game-rules).

## 4. Read the result

Check placement and prize status in the game report. A winning cash prize is credited separately to your wallet. If the result or credit is missing, follow [Results and prize credit](https://www.size.club/docs/cash-games/results).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://www.size.club/docs/tutorials/cash-prizes.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
